Tim Dang has been playing music for over 30 years on instruments as diverse as the piano, flute, guitar, `ukulele and charango (a South American instrument made from the back of an armadillo). He has studied with the masters of Hawaiian music -- including George Kahumoku, Jr., Dennis Kamakahi, Cyril Pahinui, Ozzie Kotani, Daniel Ho and Herb Ohta, Jr. -- and works closely with Hawaiian music labels and artists to promote their music online and broaden their audience. Tim teaches and plays Hawaiian slack key guitar and `ukulele in San Francisco.
